Day 1, some good, some bad

We weren't sure when their work day started so we were up and ready by 7am, but it turned out they really start a little before 8am, so tomorrow we'll be ready.  After we checked in Dan came around and moved the coach through the myriad of other coaches and trailers to our spot in front of a bay.  First thing the captain's chairs came out.

First chair out
Both out!  Looks a bit like our floor foray in Weatherford, doesn't it?

Then we got our new wiper system out of the back of the truck, and Dan attacked it with gusto!  He removed the old undersized unit and we both marveled at how heavy duty the new one was.  I'll tell you this new one could scrape a buzzard off the windshield no problem.  After an hour or so they needed to move a bunch of coaches around, and I'll tell you their lot and parking area is not that big, but Dan made it look easy as he whipped coaches back and forth until we were moved into a new bay, another was moved out to the parking lot and yet another came out of the paint booth.  After musical chairs a body shop guy came out and started on our damaged wheel well, began grinding away to get to intact fiberglass, then they pulled off the headlight assembly so repairs could be started on that as well.

It was lunch time, at least for us, by then so Jan and I took off for a bit.  Had a good lunch, then drove back and toured Mt Olive Shores North, a very nice RV community nearby.  It not only has RV sites, it also has sites with casitas, small houses with RV ports and garages, up to huge homes with swimming pools and more than one RV garage!  What impressed us was how nicely it was done, everything was landscaped, very upscale with club house and pool, tennis courts etc.

When we got back Dan was just finishing up the wiper install, our wheel well was glassed in, the headlight molding repaired, and our chairs were still there?!?  What!  Not too happy about the chairs, as we already knew it would be tight to expect them to be done by Friday as it was.  We found out that since it was raining and it was, that they needed to transport them in an enclosed trailer which was out on another job.  Okay, makes sense, but then we got the bad news, we will probably be here until Wednesday at least for the chairs to get done.  They were a bit more complex than they originally thought.  Oh well getting it done right will be worth it.
The new wipers, heh, heh, heh
The headlight molding looking good

Our boo boo all glassed up
So now we are back in our "campsite", a couple feet out the door of the bay, hooked into electric, satellite up and locked in, settling in for the night.
