Some of my regular readers may have noticed a new link appear, AMAZON PORTAL at the top right of my page. I have added this as a way to share my blog reading with a small monetary reward. We are big Amazon fans and use them almost exclusively for our personal purchases, and absolutely love their customer service! If you access Amazon through my affiliate link for your own purchases, nothing changes for you. You enjoy the same exact prices, same fantastic customer service, same great selection, the only difference is I get a small "kick back" percentage for allowing Amazon to use my blog as advertisement. I do spend quite a bit of time writing my blog, and this way you can still access Amazon just like you normally do, and I share in the experience.
Christmas is the time of the year when we think of gifts and shopping, and I have noticed several of the blogs that I read regularly have started using the Amazon link as well. I had debated whether to add advertising to the blog at all, and I feel this will be preferable to the pop up ads that I have been using. If this pans out at all, I plan to remove the other ads entirely.

I was going to ask if you were ready to buy a condo at Bird Bay and be our neighbors? but you answered the question in the last paragraph. ;) fingers crossed the repairs go well. we will be at Bird Bay Jan.6-14. we'll catch up with you then. Karen is coming from Tokyo that week.
