Merry Merry Christmas Everyone!

I want to wish a heartfelt Merry Christmas to all our friends, family, and followers.  It is a special time to remember the celebration of Christ's birth and a time to be deeply thankful.

We are particularly thankful looking back on an incredible year.  We spent it doing exactly what we wanted and that in and of itself is spectacular.  We had a great time traveling to the wilds of Alaska made even better by the always interesting and enjoyable company of Karen, and Tom at least a little bit, and Jordan who joined us later, punctuated with a wonderful visit with Walker, and of course Nancy and CT, and Vivian.  Of course we were able to work in prior to Alaska another fantastic visit with Larry and Mary Ellen, with  maybe a little bit of fabulous food! :-)  We had a super trip to Hawaii with our good friends, John and Diane, capped off with a couple visits with Sandy, Kris, Abby, and Sydney, and we missed Elizabeth.  It was icing on the cake to see Keith and Jessica in beautiful Alaska!    Then a superb Thanksgiving celebration with Karen and Tom, Jordan, Kelly, Todd, Faith, and Christian, Jason and Beth.  And although we got to visit with Brett and Sandra and the "girls" in the spring, we were sad to miss them this fall.  We got to see Kelly and Todd's new house and the wonderful things they have done with it, especially with Kelly's incredible new talent with construction and furniture making.  We were lucky enough to visit with Jason quite a few times in Atlanta.  Now we are back in Florida reconnecting with lots and lots of friends here, Jack and Betty, Pat and Linda, Scott and Susan, Bob and Harlene, Doug and Nancy, Ken and Shirley, Dick and Ann, Cathy, and many more.  We can't wait to have new "old neighbors" again with Bruce and Cathie.

This full time RVing lifestyle has made it possible for us to look out our windows and see mountains, deserts, glaciers, valleys, canyons, rivers, streams, oceans, lakes, waterfalls, ponds, wildlife, cities, as well as absolute wilderness, basically the ability to change our view at our whim.  It enables us to see lots of friends and family, and meet many new friends along the way.  It's not completely prefect, as there are many times we wish we could invite friends and family to come visit us, but for the most part, and we realize it's not for everyone, this lifestyle suits us perfectly.

So now we are looking forward to having Christmas dinner with some of our oldest friends, Ray and April, and we are especially thankful to be doing so this year.  So I have rambled on a bit, forgive me, but we wish you a very Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas!
