Good day

It ended up that Karen and I made the big loop north through Silverton, Ouray, Ridgeway, Telluride, and back south through Delores to Durango.  240 miles of absolutely spectacular scenery.  Had a few sprinkles, but otherwise perfect.  Karen had never been there and was very impressed with the views, especially the ones straight down!  We had a very good lunch in Telluride.  Meanwhile Jan and Rachel went on a hike,

that was unfortunately cut short by thunder and lightning.  Even so they went 5.2 miles.  But each said it was very enjoyable.  

Things seem very busy around here, in fact Jan and Karen had planned to go horseback riding this week, but everything was booked solid, so they are planning to ride in Pagosa when we get there next week.

Saw quite a few rv's boondocking on our ride today, keeps me thinking about perhaps getting more solar panels for the roof so we would be able to boondock without running the generator so much.  A pretty expensive option so it will require a lot more study.
