Surprise, change of destination!

We took off after doing our walks at about 9am.  Walked a little earlier than usual, and what a beautiful morning!

We had planned to stop in Meridian, MS at a campground we have stayed at many times before.  It is an easy in and out with all pull through sites, and figured we wouldn't need a reservation as it was a Tuesday and we would be arriving fairly early.  Wrong!  Full house.  Seems the owner has opted to turn his mostly transient campground into a long term stay place!  That doesn't happen very often to us, we usually make a reservation around lunchtime if it's just an overnight stop.  No big deal we continued on to Florence, MS, about another 100 miles and stayed the night at Wendy Oaks RV Park.  It's fine for an overnight, big pull through, full hook up, and on a nice little pond.  Quite a bit of road noise, but the AC drowns it out.  And man are we in the middle of Mississippi:-)

I'm having a little trouble with an aspect of our new braking system on the truck.  We have an indicator light next to the driver's seat in the coach that lights whenever the truck's brakes are applied.  It worked when we first got it installed, but unfortunately, the tech used a ground off another system and it caused some erroneous readings on our dash.  I switched it over to another ground twice, but it keeps blowing an inline fuse in the truck, so I either created a short all by myself or coincidentally we have a short somewhere in the wire that goes from the rear of the coach to the light.  The braking system works great, it is just the indicator light.  So we will pursue this further when we get to Longview.

And no, the tires are still not paid for!!
