Good stuff

I'm a little late with my update, we had a little burp in the plans that was taken care of so on with the news.  We sold the bike, essentially anyway, the buyer is supposed to pick it up this weekend or next, and if it meets his expectations, he's going to ride it away.  Also we have the Hydralift on the back of the motorhome that we were interested in selling as well when we sold the bike.  It is a hydraulic lift that carried the bike behind the motorhome.

Decided to contact the great folks who put it on and ask if they were interested in it and would remove it?  Turns out they are going to buy it and remove it as well!  Looks like we can cross off two more big items from our retirement list.
Another biggie on the list is a Jeep.  We need to sell my car, a 2006 VW GTI, and our present Jeep, a 2006 Grand Cherokee, and, of course the bike, and want to get a new Grand Cherokee.  As we start our travel in earnest we have to get down to only one vehicle.  We are working on whether to try to trade both cars to save on sales tax, or to just sell my car and then trade in only the Jeep.  Not a big rush on that, although our son Jason, who is in the car business, told us that right now is an excellent time to sell used cars as a lot of people are getting their income tax refunds and use it to buy a car!  Never associated one with the other.  Live and learn.
As to work, I have to bid for a schedule one more time.  Hopefully I can work it out to finish flying around the 15th of March, yet stay officially employed til the 2nd of May!  Really helps with the medical insurance.  I'll fill in the details later as it unfolds.  All perfectly legal and acceptable, by the way.
Tick, tick, tick.
