Another great day!

We got the motorhome washed, got the new bike rack figured out, what an improvement over the old one!  Loaded up the bikes and took off for Durango in the morning.  A bright beautiful day, about 62 degrees.  As we crest the hill in Pagosa Springs we are greeted by two hot air balloons that were directly over us!

You can see the flame!

They sure are pretty as they float along.  The views must have been fantastic as it was clear as a bell.
We continued over to Durango, what a pleasant drive.  Parked, unloaded the bikes and off we went for a delightful bike ride.  About 70 degrees now, no wind, and a stellar bike path along the babbling Animas River!  People were gathering downtown for the Durango-Silverton train, and as we got to the northern end of the path, we heard the whistle and were able to capture the first train as it went by.
As I said before, Durango is a very cool place.  Just big enough for most things, a walk around downtown, very bike friendly, magnificent scenery, but definitely has winter.
We got our chores done, had lunch, then back to check the motorhome fluids out before our big day Friday as we move to Creede, CO.  Our two plus weeks here at Cool Pines has flown by.  It is so nice to be surrounded by friends, our western family.
