We are heading out tomorrow! It's actually almost two weeks short of our reservation time here. 5 months is too long we find, Jan and I are travelers, not sitters, and we've found we actually made a mistake thinking we could cool our jets for 5 months at a time. We are going to shorten our reservation next year to 4 months. It's getting warm and humid, but more importantly the road is calling us. It is bittersweet though, we have friends that we only see while in Florida and we will miss seeing them until we get back in December.
So in the meantime we have been busy getting ready, putting our grill, chairs, Jan's kayak, mats, and the scooter in the storage unit, and pulling out a bunch of stuff we are taking to Kelly. We keep hoping to whittle down our "stuff", but it is a daunting task. Even motivated it is just hard to get rid of some things. I truly think we will always have a storage unit, particularly here in Florida where we winter, as it holds all those things I mentioned that we only use here.
So on our way north this year we are going to a couple new places that we are excited about so will catch everyone up on our progress as we, finally, get moving again!
