Quick Update, On The Move Tomorrow!

Tomorrow morning bright and early we make our way to Maine!  3 overnights, into Maine on Monday.

We spent way too much time on trying to cover the triple hole over the new microwave, back and forth with this and that and fairly came up with a solution we can live with.

Looks pretty good we think

I got some more dental work done, the final crown for my implant, and of course, with my dental luck while they were making the mold for the new crown, found a chip out of another tooth that needed repair.  Got that done, and then waited until the end of the month for the final installation.  And although we wish our long time dentist, Dr Mulkey the very best in his retirement, we are sad to lose our wonderful dentist and friend of over 25 years.

We've been running errands and taking care of little things that needed to get done before moving up north.  We've had several very nice visits with friends.

And we've visited our property several times for a picnic or a coffee.  Two days ago we stopped in and found several small branches had been taken off our tree and there was a new No Trespassing sign on our tree?!?!?!  We decided at that point especially since the lot next to us has already sold and the folks that bought it are building immediately, it might be a good idea to put in more stakes delineating our boundary in case the string that marks it now goes away.

We bought a bunch of stakes and bright ribbon and went to put them in, while we were working our neighbor, the one that used to own our lot, and a real nice guy saw us and came over.  He explained that it was he that put up the signs because on Easter Sunday there were people walking around our lot and around his pond.  He confronted them to find out what they were doing, said they saw the pond and thought it'd be a nice place to sit around for awhile.  He informed them it was private property and no it was not all right.  Nice to have a neighbor keeping an eye on our lot:-)

What doesn't show in the pictures is that it is hot, hot, hot and humid, actually the first this spring, and not a cloud in the sky, and I was melting.  We got it done, sat there, relaxed, had coffee, and chilled for awhile, and said goodbye for the next 7 months.  Yeah, we have new plans again:-)  More to follow.
