Yup, we're still alive, but pretty hunkered in, spring is very reluctant this year. Lots of rain, wind, and cold temps. And, of course, we are having each HH like clockwork with Karen and Tom, but we have been inside for every one. And right now we have 45 degrees and a gale warning for the next 2 days with possible winds in excess of 40 mph!
Since almost all of our outside activities are non existent, except for walking whenever the temp goes above 50, we've been doing a lot of lunches out. And just so you know we sometimes actually eat other than seafood and try new things. In fact I had a new item for me, Bibimbap.
The local lobster guy hung out his sign, Open, so we ran over for our first fix.
And before you think, my God that's a lot of lobster for 2, we tried something different, the 4 on the bottom were sold as culls, usually meaning 1 or no claws, instead, and it's hard to tell in the pics, they are tiny, amazing they are even legal. After we looked them over, we both decided we needed to go pick up 2 more, a little bigger to make a whole dinner. Glad we did, and yes they all were delicious!
We ran up to Freeport with Karen and Tom to eat at Harraseeket Lunch and hit LL Bean, got my first steamed clams fix:-)

Very few boats in the water this early in the season |
Then on Wednesday, off to Billy's for buck a shuck day, as you can see not all of us participated:-)
So that's all for now, hoping for spring soon.
