A little catch up

Internet problems continue.  We have free wifi here at Cool Pines, but the service provider, the local cable company, has sporadic service at best.  We have been using our WiFi boost antenna to increase the signal, but if it's not there it's not there.  Now, with very good reason, Harvey added a password to the system, and that has stymied my WiFi antenna system for some reason, so we are back to tethering my phone, or waiting for the sporadic internet to hook up.  I wanted to add a few pictures that I didn't have time to add previously.  Here is a couple of Jan installing the tile in the shower.

It is all grouted now and to be sealed soon, so another project bites the dust.

And I'm just watching and trying to relax, as you can see I'm having a hard time of it:)

As I mentioned a bit ago, we ordered a new bike rack, so I got to thinking, a dangerous thing, that maybe we could sell the old one quick on Craig's List while we were sitting here.  So that's what we did and 3 days later, it's gone!  Now we don't have to lug the old one around with us.
We had a superb 4th of July get-together that featured pulled pork and chicken thighs.  Our fantastic chef, Buzz, and his son, another superb chef, Clay, smoked the pork all day long!  It was delicious, everyone else brought sides and desserts and a good time was had by all.  We even had live entertainment with the great vocals of Jack, with a few others joining in.
Jan and I are going to try to get off our duffs the next few days and do some hikes, and off-roading now that our tile project is complete.
