It's been a month since my last post and I wanted to let you know we're still here. The last post had us arriving in Ellijay, GA and filling in the last squares for my hip surgery. Jan's sister Karen was here for a couple weeks so we had a lot of visiting, Happy Hours, and meals together before she headed south. We had several great visits and overnights at our friends, John and Diane's, a nice visit with family, Teresa and Bill over lunch.
Mostly I was doing everything required for my upcoming surgery, doctor appointments, dental clearance, getting all the required items, pre-op appt, and talking on the phone to an amazing number of people from the surgeon, hospital, anethesia, etc. Who knew all this was needed?
We did manage to find a very good sushi restaurant, Yoon Sushi, you knew food would have to pop up somewhere:-)

We even stumbled across an amazing find at a liquor store right here in Ellijay!
Then my hip replacement surgery, in and out in one day! Up and walking to include climbing stairs a few hours after surgery!!
Now the tough part, recovery and physical therapy.
